三佛性

The three kinds of Buddha-nature:

(1) [lang id =1028]自性住佛性 the Buddha-nature which is in all living beings, even those in the three evil paths (gati).

(2) [lang id =1028]引出佛性 the Buddha-nature developed by the right discipline.

(3) [lang id =1028]至得果佛性 the final or perfected Buddha-nature resulting from the development of the original potentiality.

﹝出華嚴孔目﹞ 謂真性平等， 猶如虛空。 於諸凡聖， 無所限礙， 故名佛性。 〔一、 自性住佛性〕， 謂真如之理， 自性常住， 無有變改， 即是一切眾生本有佛性， 是名自性住佛性。 〔二、 引出佛性〕， 謂一切眾生， 佛性雖具， 必假修習智慧禪定之力， 方能引發本有之性， 是名引出佛性。 〔三、 至得果佛性〕， 謂修因滿足， 則本有佛性， 於證得果位之時， 了了顯發， 是名至得果佛性。

自性住佛性、 引出佛性、 至得果佛性。 自性住佛性是一切眾生本具的佛性， 因為是自性， 所以常住， 三惡道的眾生就只有這一種； 引出佛性是眾生憑著自己修行的功夫， 漸漸地把本具的佛性引導出來， 這種佛性為三乘行者所具有； 至得果佛性是修因滿足了， 本具的佛性顯發無餘， 這是諸佛的佛性。
